榆林有一种雄浑的气势,追溯至明朝,它是九边重镇延绥镇,从历史沿革来讲,榆林城是因边防工事需求而建立。历经沧海桑田,这座城一直有着守护城界内盛世清平的铁汉柔情。倘若站在城楼上,关外的大漠孤烟与关内的人间温暖还能借由城墙斑驳的印记娓娓道来。
Yulin always give us a powerful feeling, it was named Yansui which was an important frontier town in Ming Dynasty. After countless vibrant passage of time, The city has always guarded people's happy life here. If you stand on the gate tower, you can still see the diffrence scenery between outside and inside, which is a so Intoxicating experience.
榆林南大街,在北方气候中,尤为显得古朴、浑厚,没有太多的细腻的情绪,但却非常直接沉稳。这座城市深沉的美感与人们平静的生活密不可分,即便是现代快节奏的变化也脱离不了至今仍在蔓延的文脉根深。
The South Street in Yulin is a typical scenic spot, if you have time to go through it, You can get to know the character of the city immediately. The deep aesthetic feeling of this city is inseparable from the peaceful life in here.
《当我们在谈论设计时我们在说什么?》
在设计之初,团队内部探讨了多个方向的可能性,当大家都在不断的输出时,我们选择做了一个短暂的停顿:对于项目而言,设计者有太多的自我意识,而这是否是项目本身所想要传递出来的?
At the beginning of the design, we explored multiple directions of how to Creat the project. When so many ideas came out, we feel there may had sth wrong, so we take a short stop: for the project, the designer had too much self-consciousness, and was it the right way? Or is it the Accurate features of the land wanted?
1981年,雷蒙德·卡佛在《当我们在谈论爱情时我们在说什么?》中,就用“极简”的遣词与叙事探讨了现代人脆弱的自我意识。对于设计,我们鲜少冷静旁观,在挖掘地域之下披覆的往往是过度的设计表达。我们决定从场地与建筑的关系出发,让项目自己说话。
In 1981, Raymond Carver had a reflection of "minimalist" in his book—— "what are we talking about when we are talking about love?". But for design, we always think own thoughts is so perfect that There is no other possibility. So, To avoid that, We decided to start from the relationship between the site and the building.
项目位于榆阳区开源大道上,界面很开敞,作为一个永久性保留的示范区项目,未来亦会是大区的主入口。这是一个从城市到社区逐渐渗透过渡的空间,场地至最初便承担了双重功能,就不适合从单一时间维度来考量,我们考虑能在空间中看见各种活动发生的可能性,如社交、艺术、会客、冥想等等。亲切的社区感,一定会是它作为展示区最好的方式。
The project is located on Kaiyuan Avenue in Yuyang District, with has an open interface. As a permanent demonstration, it will also be the main entrance of the region in the future. This is a space that gradually transits from city to community. A friendly sense of community was certainly be the important display features.
无论从时间、地域或是成本上来说,这个项目都受到了极大的限制,最值得分享总结的是,基于场地本身语言的保留与延展,有时候会比直觉更有张力。
This project had a lot difficulties in time and cost. What is worth sharing and summarizing is that the reservation and extension had base on the language of the site itself.

Status quo of ancient cypress
在榆林,有一株千年古柏。是公元950年,由古麟州秘使杨宏信之子杨业亲手种植,喻意根留麟州,树在人安之意。如今时过境迁,古柏依旧淡香扑鼻,它跨越了时间线性的流动,仍在守护这片土壤。
In Yulin, there is a millennium old cypress. It was planted by Yang Ye, the son of Yang Hongxin, in 950 A.D., Now, as time goes by, the ancient cypress is still fragrant. It has crossed the linear flow of time and is still guarding the city.
树与人之间的关系是情感的寄托,这是历经时间考验的完美方式,无论设计手法怎么变,空间之间流动的情感,会随着草木生长而绵长。我们见到这棵树的那种触动至今都在,而从地域找到的线索,往往让我们在空间骨架之外找到能够栖心的着力点。一颗树的见证,是情感的寄托,是空间的守望,是时间的沉淀。

INTERFACE AND DOMAIN
从主题空间划分,景观引入了三个层次,入口——下沉中庭——后场,围绕主体建筑形成完整叙事。
We divide space into three levels: Entrance - sunken Atrium - backcourt,with the main building,landscape forming a complete narrative around.
整个入口空间,承担着主入口及商业展示的功能。售楼部与两侧的商业围和而成了一个“口袋”空间。以素雅的细节及简洁明快的线条形成展示面,亦与建筑形成内外层次的对话,更强调出来的是聚合的精致体验。
The main entrance space also undertakes the functions of commercial exhibition.the site form a "pocket" space. when space dialogue with the building, we wanted to emphasizes the exquisite experience of aggregation.
进入场地隔离了城市干道的喧嚣,传递出未来社区的领域感。与使用大面积的水景相较,我们选择层次分明的软景空间作为场景主体,不仅是基于成本考虑,而是大树与草坪所营造出亲切感充分表达了守护的含义。
When you step into, we isolates the noise of the urban and conveys the sense of community in the future. we choose the layered soft landscape space as the main scene, the intimacy created by trees and lawns, fully expressing the meaning of protection.
静谧与向上延伸的张力
TENSION EXTENDING UPWARD
由建筑围合而成的下沉空间,360°横向玻璃幕墙让室内外的分界并不会太明显。场地整体下沉6m,这个空间的两大难题在于:其一它需要有满足上下通行,连接空间内外的交通需求;其二整个场景的营造需要满足周边围合建筑看过去的景观体验。
The 360 °glass curtain wall Fuzzy interior and exterior boundary. The overall sinks 6m, the major problems of this space are: first, it demands of a up and down traffic; second, it needs a good landscape experience When you look out of the room.
落地方案主要以左侧干净的流体雕塑状楼梯结合禅意造景,在满足基本功能的需求下,营造了从室内向外360°环形的舒适观景感受。
The last scheme is mainly based on the clean liquid sculpture stairs on the left side, combined with Zen landscaping.
很多时候我们需要给自己留出安静的思考空间,松与石在寂定,对比我们日常缺乏的自持冷静,它们是冥想的最佳表达。方寸之间其实是无垠的,生命的无限永远不应该为空间所困住。
Most of the time, we need to give ourselves a quiet space to think. As if just stay with Pine and ston. In fact, our life is boundless, and the infinity of life should never be trapped by space.
要通过具体的物质形体来传递流动而自由的情绪其实会让人很困扰,但认知总会不太一样,例如在定义流体雕塑的时候,无论是将它看作生命DNA或是黄金螺旋都无太大差别,表象永远比不了内在的丰富,每个人都试图解读《2001漫游太空》中最后的神秘10分钟,但库布里克也无法准确传达认知中最宏大的奇迹。
A thousand people have a thousand Hamlets. For example, when defining fluid sculpture, whether it is regarded as life DNA or golden helix, there is no big difference. LIFE IN NATURE
生活的轻松感是后场需要传达出来的逻辑,从软景的搭配到自然石材的选择,在整体空间尽量少出现工业化元素,便不会太分散人在其中只需要享受的感知力。我们很愿意让人被环境左右,去感受它们的魅力。
The backcourt need to convey the lightness feeling of life. We want people can totally influenced by the environment and just feel their charm live.
后场空间也是未来大区的中庭节点,它承担了居住者在这里的生活的需求:会客、休闲,但在以后会发展出来的场景远不止于此。
Backcourt space is also the atrium node of the future region, which undertakes the needs of residents' life here: reception or leisure, but we belive in the future,the functions are more than that.
生活需要典雅,但亦不必时时刻刻都优雅,在景观中,硬与软的搭配与衡量,也会是一个没有答案的议题,或许半响闲暇时光,与三两友人在闲谈中,便跨越了时间的维度,这些也都不再重要。
We want to Live in elegance, but we also need a Easy life. Maybe in leisure time, chatting with friends will cross the dimension of time, elegance or not, which is no longer important.
