场地·思考
— SITE THINKING —
万科·梅里上城位于无锡市新吴区新华路与新南北路交界处,距无锡东站5公里,苏南硕放国际机场5.9公里,交通便捷。
Vanke Up City is located at the junction of Xinhua Road and Xinnan North Road, Xinwu District, Wuxi City that is 5 kilometers away from Wuxi East Railway Station; 5.9 kilometers away from Sunan Shuofang International Airport, with convenient transportation.
基地东侧、南侧为居住区,北侧为科技园,西侧临市政道路,作为基地对外交流的主界面,被宽33m的市政绿化阻隔,以至于西侧仅留有5米的带状设计空间,既不利于场地对外交流,也影响了场地内建筑立面的展示效果。
The east and south of the base are residential areas, the north is science and technology park, and the west side is adjacent to the municipal road. As the main interface of the base for external communication, it is blocked by the municipal greening with a width of 33m, so that only 5 meters of strip design space is left on the west side, which is not conducive to the external communication of the site, but also affects the display effect of the building facade in the site.
基于此我们提出了“打开街角,拓宽范围”的策略”,将新南北路与新华路转角打开,在转角处形成入口广场,打造昭示性记忆点,吸引并留住人流;并将设计范围向西拓宽15-18m,增加景观设计空间,给予建筑立面更多的展示空间。
Based on this, we put forward the strategy of "Open Street Corner, Broaden the Range". We opened the corner of Xinnan Road and Xinhua Road, formed an entrance square at the corner, and created a visible memory point to attract and retain the flow of people. Expand the design scope to the west by 15-18m, increase the landscape design space, and give the building facade more display space.

— ARTISTIC INTERVENTIONS —
梅里上城由摩高团队洛杉矶合伙人——大卫.盖尔先生执笔,关于如何打造一个与众不同的商业示范区,大卫.盖尔先生提出了“艺术干预”(Artistic Interventions)的设计手法。他认为景观是艺术与科学的结合,而本次设计更侧重于艺术部分的表达,这种表达可以由多种方式体现——语境的,演绎的,互动的或是情感的,是创造性思想与技能的结合,从而产生美的思想与感情的作品。
Up City was built by Los Angeles-based partner of MPG Group, Mr. David. Gal writes about how to create a business demonstration zone that makes a difference. Mr. Gal proposed “Artistic Interventions”. He believes that landscape is a combination of art and science, and this design focuses more on the expression of the artistic part, which can be embodied in a variety of ways -- contextual, deductive, interactive or emotional. It is the combination of creative ideas and skills to produce beautiful ideas and feelings of works.
本案通过“艺术干预”的设计手法,赋予水体、材质以生命,讲述了一个“追溯时间浪潮,拾遗星辰大海”的故事,设计中放大了景观元素的体量和比例,大胆地在入口处设置巨型的花钵形成视觉上的张力,并以一条弧线形水景串联不同形态的水景故事,予人以出其不意的惊喜。材料应用上,将蓝色的有机玻璃应用于花钵、池底及漩涡等场地各处,仿若星辰落入大海,染上了大海的颜色,为整个场景增添了梦幻的童话色彩。
This case through the "Artistic Intervention" of art design technique, give water, material is qualitative with life, tells the story of a "Tracing the tide of time, the stars in the sea", amplify the landscape elements in the design of the size and proportion, boldly set at the entrance of giant flowerpot form of visual tension, and with an arc shape waterscape series water scene in the form of different story, gives people a surprise.
Material application, the application of the organic glass of blue in flowerpot, bottom and vortex field everywhere, as if the stars fall into the sea, with the color of the sea, to the whole scene added a dreamy fairy tale color.
追 溯 时 间 的 浪 潮
— TRACING THE TIDE OF TIME —
自泰伯奔吴,立国江南,筑城梅里,吴文化得以发展,并随着历史的跌宕起伏经历了文化的源、始、兴、续……如同浪潮一般起起落落,永不停息。示范区以“追溯时间的浪潮”为主题,希望将历史的感动在场地中延续,让人们从景观层面上感受到时间的礼赠。
Since Taibo to Wu, the establishment of the south of the country, the construction of Meili, Wu culture has been developed, and with the ups and downs of history experienced the source, beginning, prosperity, continuation of culture...... It rises and falls like a wave and never stops. With the theme of "Tracing the Wave of Time", the demonstration area hopes to extend the touch of history in the site and let people feel the gift of time from the landscape level.
设计中我们将浪潮的不同形态应用到水景及铺装处理中,从而演化为互动涌泉、弧线水景、景观跌水、漩涡装置及曲线铺装,使得景观的浪潮涌动于整个场地中。
In the design, we applied the different forms of the wave to the waterscape and pavement treatment, which evolved into interactive springs, curved waterscape, landscape water fall, whirlpool device and curved pavement, making the wave of the landscape surge in the whole site.
主入口广场区,将巨型艺术花钵阵列排布,以较为超尺度的空间体量给人以视觉冲击,从而形成引人注目的昭示性景观。
In the square area at the main entrance, a huge array of art POTS is arranged to give people a visual impact with a relatively super-scale spatial volume, thus forming an eye-catching public landscape.
花钵采用石笼内置蓝色琉璃石的装置形式,在夜晚内置灯的映照下形成蓝色的荧光的效果。
The flower bowl adopts the installation form of stone cage built-in blue glaze stone, forming a blue fluorescent effect under the reflection of the built-in lamp at night.

“瀑 之 影 ” 景 观 跌 水
"Waterfall Shadow" -- the view of drop water landscape
“瀑之影”景观跌水位于弧线形水景的起点处,跌水下部为圆形的收水装置,内置蓝色琉璃石。夜晚,每当水流跌落时,会形成一片“荧光海滩”,宛若“瀑落星盘”。
"Waterfall shadow" landscape drop is located at the beginning of the arc-shaped waterscape, the lower part of the drop is a circular water collecting device, built-in blue glass stone. At night, when the water falls, it forms a "fluorescent beach", like a "waterfall falling astrolabe".

“泉 之 源 ” 互 动 涌 泉
"The source of spring" -- the interflowing spring
围绕跌水设置参与性互动喷泉,人们可通过周边的按钮座椅,控制喷泉的形态。
A participatory interactive fountain is set around the falling water. People can control the shape of the fountain through the button seats around it.
喷泉周边 “按钮”形的座椅上,设有大小不同的手掌形的互动按钮,分别代表“爸爸”、“妈妈”和“宝贝”,当三个手掌同时按下时喷泉会出现心形图案,为亲子互动增添了一抹温馨的色彩。
"Button" shaped seats around the fountain are equipped with palm-shaped interactive buttons of different sizes, representing "Dad", "Mom" and "Baby" respectively. When three palms are pressed down at the same time, the fountain will appear a heart-shaped pattern, adding a warm color to parent-child interaction.

弧 形 水 景
Arc waterscape
弧形水景犹如流星划过夜空时的弧线拖尾,贯穿整个场地,始于入口跌水,终于商业内街的水景旋涡,在动态过程中循环往复,生生不息。
The arc-shaped waterscape is like the arc trailing of a meteor across the night sky, which runs through the whole site, starting from the water fall at the entrance and ending with the water vortex in the commercial inner street. In the dynamic process, it circulates endlessly.
跌水段的池底由整石雕琢出波纹形状,引导水流缓缓流淌;静水段平与地面,两侧设置造浪,池底铺满蓝色琉璃石,孩童可沿着水岸追逐嬉笑。
The bottom of the pool is carved by the whole stone into a corrugated shape to guide the water flowing slowly; The still water section is level with the ground, with waves on both sides, and the bottom of the pool covered with blue glass stones for children to chase and laugh along the water bank.
趣 味 十 字 桥
Interesting Cross Bridge
弧形水景上共设有三处十字交叉平桥,行走其中,充满童趣与好奇。
There are three cross Bridges on the arc-shaped waterscape, which is full of childlike interest and curiosity.
场地西南部为“浪之潮”艺术公共空间,地面配以海浪般的自由曲线铺装,与建筑的平直线条形成鲜明的对比。每当夜幕降临,便有波浪状的投影灯打下,在波光粼粼的灯光秀中,人们仿若遨游在海上。
The southwest of the site is the public art space of "Wave of the Wave". The ground is equipped with wave-like free curved pavement, which forms a sharp contrast with the flat lines of the building. When the night falls, there will be a wave of projection lights down, in the sparkling light show, people feel like roam in the sea.

为呼应地面铺装,场地中的座椅也被打造为曲线形,并在其中放置种植池或巨型花钵。
In response to the pavement, the seats in the site are also curved, and planted pools or giant flowerpots are placed in them.
FUN 户 外
FUN Outside
商铺外设有艺术家具外摆、特色座椅和异形花坛,供人们在此休憩停留。遮阳伞有别于以往单一色调的伞面,由不同色彩和图案的帆布织物构成,与花钵表面的彩绘拼贴风格统一,明亮欢快的色彩为场地注入更多趣味与活力。
The outside shop, there are art furnishings, special chairs and special-shaped flower beds for people to rest and stay. Different from the previous single-tone umbrella surface, the sunshade is composed of canvas fabric of different colors and patterns, which is consistent with the color collage style on the surface of the flower pot. The bright and cheerful colors inject more interest and vitality into the site.
台阶踢面绘有印象画派画卷图案,梦幻的笔墨在台阶上缓缓展开,给人以美好的遐想和体验。
The step kick surface painting has the impression painting scroll pattern, the dreamy pen and ink slowly unfolds on the step, giving a person with beautiful reverie and experience.
弧形水景的终点处为一处水漩涡,通过垂直的有机玻璃面板人们可以清晰地观察到装置内部的涡状漩流,如同斗转的星轨,星移物转。水漩涡外部同样嵌满琉璃石,与整个水景、场地连为体,令人流连忘返。
The end point of the arc-shaped waterscape is a water vortex. Through the vertical organic glass panel, people can clearly observe the vortex inside the device, just like the orbit of the star rotating in a bucket, and the star moving objects rotating. Water whirlpool outside the same filled with glass stone, and the whole waterscape, site as the one, people linger.

景观是一场对土地进行设计、规划和管理的艺术,它可以被塑造成纪念性的、传统的、未来的……万科·梅里上城通过“艺术干预”的手法赋予这片土地生命,使其柔软梦幻而又旷古悠久,以水为带脉,带大家追溯时间的浪潮,拾遗星辰大海,在平淡无奇的生活中天马行空,汩汩流淌。
Landscape is the art of designing, planning and managing land that can be shaped to be monumental, traditional, future... Through the technique of "artistic intervention", Vanke Up City gives life to this land, making it soft, dreamy and ancient. With water as the vein, it leads people to trace the tide of time, collect the stars and the sea, and flow freely and smoothly in the ordinary life.
