The Green City Blue Bay Town project is located in Lingshui County, Hainan Province, with about 2 kilometers of coastline to the south.It provides an excellent seaside holiday/living experience, being a high-quality resort with rich tropical coastal natural resources. Jiangnanli villa is located in the western block of the Green City Blue Bay Town project. The project is enclosed by apremier LINKS ecological golf course - blue bay golfeast to the west, south, east, and QingshuiwanAvenue to the north.The total construction land area is about 76600 square meters, with meandering streets being the main layout for the project.

江南里整体通过一轴、一环、两中心，三街、九巷、两苑、四园的布局形式，形成一个空间丰富、意趣无穷、景观优美的低层组团区。
As a whole, through the layout of one axis, one ring, two centers, three streets, six gardens, nine lanes, forming a space-rich, charming villa group area.
设计在延用传统中式园林设计原则的基础上，融合了江南园林风格、宋代园林风格以及岭南园林风格，在海南热带地区展现别具风情的富有江南园林韵味的中式风格景观。
Design-wise, Jiangnan garden style, Song Dynasty garden style and Lingnan garden style was fused into the traditional Chinese garden design principles, showing a a unique style of the rich Jiangnan garden charm of the Chinese style landscape in the tropics.

艺术特征 Artistic features
传统中式园林的设计原则大致都是气脉相通的，所以海南江南里延用传统中式园林的设计原则，从建筑、山水、花木，到物质、精神建构元素，都服从于一定的规律，呼吸响应，相互交融，纳入到传统园林空间观、审美观系统里。
The design obeys the principles of traditional Chinese gardens. From architecture, landscape, flowers and trees, to material and spiritual construction elements, are subject to certain laws of aesthetic system, blending intoone another.
传统中式园林设计手法有空间分割、旷奥交替、主体控制、亏蔽深远、蜿蜒曲折等多种形式。
Traditional Chinese garden design techniques include space division, open-closed alternation, subject control, obstruction, winding twists and turns and other forms.
旷奥相兼 Narrow and Wide
园林精彩之处在于空间处理，要在有限的空间中创造无限的艺术已经就需要旷如与奥如的兼容、交互。因此通过空间处理上采用的旷奥交替之规律，能够表达中国人一种追求奇趣别境、幽意深情的美学观。
The compatibility and combination of narrowness and wideness are the key to create unlimited art within a limited space. By using the narrow & wide principle, we mean to express an aesthetics of pursuing a secluded, mysterious land. This technique also correlates with sparse & dense, empty & full, concealed & exposed.

亏蔽深远 Obstruction
亏蔽是指通过一定的遮隔，但不是完全遮蔽，有藏有露，使景观幽深而不肤浅孤露。 半亏半蔽，是园林内部一个艺术手法，使景物之间互为联系、掩映，从而形成层次丰富、境界深幽、意趣无穷的景观空间。其方式有：花木亏蔽，山石亏蔽，屋宇、廊、桥亏蔽。
Obstructions are used in traditional gardens to divide spaces, so that the sceneries are laid out in a way that cannot be entirely seen all at once, thus creating layers of various elements and add fluidity. Some of the techniques are, using plants, rocks, buildings, corridors and bridges as obstructions.
从主入口到内部巷道，从西到东的轴线距离较长，层层设置半透构筑物、花木、假山、门洞，入眼景观层层递进，趣味无穷。
By setting half obstructions like plants, rocks, doorways, the view from the main entrance was layeredin a way that the scenery changes as you walk towards the inside corridors.

传统宋风形式的建筑、构建造型丰富独特，项目采用传统加现代工艺手法，处处呈现精巧细致的现代宋风建筑风貌。
Architectures of rich shapes were built with fine workmanship, embellished with exquisite and fine decorations.

宋风特色 Song dynasty features独特纹样 Unique pattern
选取宋代钩阑栏板、彩绘、园林铺地等各式纹样，进行简化融合，突出其特色，运用到现代园林设计中，使其再现宋代风貌。
Various patterns of Song Dynasty, such as hooking and railing, painting and garden paving, were selected to simplify and merge, highlight their characteristics, and apply to modern garden design to reproduce the Song style.

写意山水 impressionistic landscape
宋代园林崇尚简远、疏朗、雅致、天然，文人园林开始兴盛，从模拟、写实自然山水向写意山水园林转变。
In Song Dynasty,gardens were admired for their simplicity, sparsity, elegance and nature, and literati gardens began to flourish. Landscapes transformed from simulated and realistic ones to impressionisticones.
江南里入口外侧空间较大，采取空间疏朗，平远山阜的景观效果，中心水景区因空间较小，采用高远山水的形式，山巅六角亭也采用明清风格，补充假山高度不足，体现高耸之势。
The entrance is spacious while the central water area is relatively small, thus different techniqueswere used here to display different characteristics. Wide open spaces outside to create an atmospheric entrance, and lofty mountains with water inside to maximize the spacial fluidity. Hexagon pavilion in Ming Qing style was used to compensate for the lack of height of the rocks, and a towering sight on its own.
空间有限，假山没有太多退进，相对浑厚，体现宋代天然朴实之趣。假山周边植物丰富，减少石头外露面，更显自然。热带植物品种丰富，与山石结合别有特色。
The rockery doesn’t have a lot of depth due to limited space, reflecting the simplicity of the Song Dynasty gardens. Varieties of tropical plants were set around the rockery to reduce the stone appearance, giving the rockery a more natural and exotic nuance.

景观建筑 Architecture
江南园林宅园合一，景观建筑在园林中占比较大，处于重要地位。景观建筑兼具停留赏景、使用功能以及本身为景观主题的多重作用。
Jiangnan stylegardens focus on the cohesion between the landscape and architecture. Architectures themselvesfunction as landscape themes, and provide places to stay and enjoy the scenery, taking up a big part in the gardens.
此次所参考的宋代建筑较为质朴，体量较明清建筑而言偏大，更为大气，其出檐宽，屋面平缓，发戗起翘小，因此多采用悬山屋面形式等。
The Song Dynasty buildings we used as reference weremore pristine, larger than the Ming and Qing Dynasties building.
由于本地气候特征，木类制品在高温、高湿、高盐环境下，极易产生翘曲、开裂、腐烂、脱皮、褪色、虫蛀等问题，为了规避此类问题，所有古建开创性的采用铝合金产品替代木制产品，更加的环保且适宜海南当地的潮湿环境。此做法将现代元素与传统元素相结合，对传统文化进行了传承，结合现代人的审美需求来打造富有传统韵味的新中式建筑，最终让传统元素得以更好的展现。
Because of the local climate characteristics--high temperature, high humidity, high salt environment, woods suffer from warping, cracking, decay, peeling, fading in color, termite and other problems.In order to avoid such problems, aluminum alloy is used as a substitution for wood products. The innovation was more suitable for the local environment and led to a more environmentally friendly result. This method combines modern elements with traditional elements, inherits traditional culture, combines the aesthetic needs of modern people whilst creating a new genre of Chinese architecture.

景观建筑——家宴区
Architecture——Family banquet area
家宴区位于中心水景区北侧，体量较大，四面厅形式，通过连廊串联于会所，与会所建筑呼应，围合形成向心空间。
The Seder Dining Area is located on the north side of the Central Waterscape Area. It has a large volume and four hall forms. It is connected in series with the clubhouse through the corridor, echoing with the club building and forming a centripetal space.
家宴区是中心水景区的副中心，四周敞开，四周景色各异，为主要赏景点，是适合三亚地区气候半室内的休闲空间，宋代园林也常在水边设置建筑，便于赏景。
The Seder Dining Area is the sub-center of the Central Water Landscape Area. It is the main scenic spot and is suitable for the semi-indoor leisure space in Sanya. The gardens of Song Dynasty often set up buildings at the waters edge for enjoying the scenery.

小飞虹：即为廊桥

飞驾于水面之上，联系两端两廊，是主要游览通道，同时划分空间，让园林景观增加层次，更显深远意境。此处借鉴明清江南园林拙政园的小飞虹。
Driving above the water, contacting both ends of the two corridors. Itacts as the main tour channel, and divides the space at the same time, adding layers, creating a more far-reaching artistic conception. We took references from the Ming and Qing Dynasties Jiangnan Garden Humble Administrators Garden’s Xiaofeihong.

采用本土植物营造具有地域风情的海角江南绿化景观
选用棕榈科植物，既适应性强，又干净简洁，画面感强，别具特色；选用本土适应性强，同时可营造中式园林意境的植物；选用不同于江南地区的植物，突出热带特色，热带植物与中式景观建筑撞击，产生特殊视觉效果。
Using Native Plants to Create Greening Landscape of South Cape with Regional Style
The selection of palm plants, both adaptable, clean and concise, strong picture sense, unique characteristics; Choosing plants with strong adaptability, which can create the artistic conception of Chinese garden; Selection of plants different from Jiangnan region, highlighting tropical characteristics, tropical plants and Chinese landscape architecture impact, resulting in special visual effects.
散尾葵枝叶飘逸舒展，与白墙门洞配置，有画面感。
The leaves and leaves of Aniseed arborescens are flowing and stretch, and the white wall is equipped with the doorway.
狭窄的巷道适合种植狐尾椰子、旅人蕉等不占空间的植物。
The narrow roadway is suitable for planting foxtail coconuts, plantains and other plants that do not take up space.
庭院深深 Courtyard
江南里低层住宅均为街巷式布局，户内空间围绕中心内庭院组织，并设置前庭院、边院等各具特色的室外空间，兼顾舒适性，私密性和整体性，结合使用功能以及人的居住习惯，注重尺度的把握。
