景观设计师打算将购物中心体验的感知注入丛林般的景观。
在过去的几年里,曼谷的户外购物中心数量激增,而CentralFestival Eastville则是这个不断发展的大都市中新兴商业中心的最新样本。
在参与该项目的工程师和建筑师的帮助下,Central Festival Eastville因其设计布局、融合了“自然幻想”和热带植物的景观设计以及曼谷城市环境中迫切需要的半公共空间的建立而获得了许多好评。
A Hyper-natural experience is the primary theme for CentralFestival Eastville landscape design. The landscape architects intended to infuse the perception of the shopping mall experience with the jungle-liked landscape.
Over the past few years, Bangkok has seen a surge in numbers of outdoor shopping malls, and CentralFestival Eastville is the latest edition of the sprouting commercial centers in this growing metropolitan. With the help of engineers and architects working on this project, Central Festival Eastville has achieved lots of praise for its design layout, landscape design that blends ‘natural fantasies’ and tropical plants, and the establishment of a semi-public space sorely needed in Bangkok’s urban environment.
总而言之,景观设计师将购物的新体验与超自然的环境相结合,将植物与自然元素和动物图案融合在一起,创造出一种“城市丛林”的氛围。
此外,在这个购物中心,户外空间散步也是一个愉快的体验,因为机械大风扇促进了自然通风,消散了炎热的空气。
因此,“新自然”体验交融在一起,这里的自然景观并不孤单,而是与技术和设计理念相融合。
In summary, the Landscape Architects have combined a new experience of shopping with a hyper-natural setting, where plants were fused with natural elements and animal motifs, to create an ‘Urban Jungle’ atmosphere. Moreover, walking in this outdoor space also provides a pleasant experience due to the ventilation of natural air supported by the mechanical big fans that pull hot air out from the space.
Thus, ‘New Nature’ experiences have been hybridized, where natural landscape is not alone, but is blended with technology and design concepts.

There are five landscape design themes in this project as follows;
迁徙:将成群的蝴蝶雕塑置于景观中,创造出迁徙的体验,象征着迁徙的动作。
蝴蝶图案的使用显示了它的雕塑形式和运动,水景和花田之间的联系。
Migration: The migratory experience was created through placing the swarm of sculptural butterflies into the landscape, to symbolize migratory movements. The use of the butterfly motif shows the connection between its sculptural form and movement, the water feature, and the flower field.
伪装:根据这个主题生成一个区域,将迁移区域连接到下一区域。
伪装的能力帮助生活在开阔森林或田野里的动物伪装自己,躲避捕食者。
景观设计师选择在这个区域结合不同的材料,来模拟一个大型动物融入大草原的场景。
Camouflage: This theme application resulted in a zone that connects the migration zone to the next one. The ability to camouflage helps animals living in the open forest or field to disguise themselves from the predators. The landscape architects chose to combine different materials in this zone, to mimic a large mix of animals blending into the Savanna.
植物适应性:植物的种植设计象征着丛林深处植物的自然生长,这些植物能够适应有限的阳光。
Plant Adaptation: Planting designs symbolized the natural plant growth of the deep jungle that is capable to adapt to limited sun light.
天然井/泉:水景池塘为人们提供了一个放松、清凉的地方,并为购物的游客和天然鸟类创造了一个庇护所。
Natural Well/Spring: The water feature ponds provide a place for people to relax, cool off, and create a refuge area for both shopping on-goers, and natural birds.
营巢:操场空间是通过巢的意向,为孩子们创造一个在热带植物景观的互动和攀爬的乐园。
Nesting: Playground space is created by using a nest for building concept of both interacting and hanging for kids in a tropical landscape planting.
