The pedestrian bridge with a width of 12 meters and an overall length of 304 meters connects the French National Library and the Bercy Parc. Two curves create the geometry of the bridge, whose soft shape contrasts with the surrounding buildings. The combination of the upgoing - compressed - arc and the inversed – tensioned – arc enable the free span of 194m.

The overlay of the two curves creates a lens formed space in the middle of the bridge, a public area suspended over the water. The multiple crossing options following the curves of the structure lead the pedestrian close to the water or allow a panoramic view over Paris.
