The project arises from the idea of bringing the Rio Parana to the tissue surrounding the property. Following a study of plastic forms generated by the river in the territory Rosario, its vegetation, and topography, we sought to reproduce the essence of its main aspects, intercropped with the layout of the city and the buildings of the Pavilion. Thus, river and city merge into the site, integrating the landscape, cultural, productive, sports, and housing, which integrated in one place possible to generate an engine of development in the area in question.
The proposal is structured around a linear axis formed by a "river" water mirror, which functions as climate regulator and structuring of the various areas of the proposal. Zoning was determined on three interconnected areas with existing buildings Communications Pavilion, Fabric housing, Wetland Park and Multipurpose Center of Rosario, with the aim of promoting their linkage with the different sectors of the district, the city center and the River by vehicular roads, vehicular restricted, bike paths and walking trails.
One of the main premises of the study was to determine which, due to population growth you can experience the southern district following interventions, lack of green spaces in the tissue registered and anegabilidad possibilities, it was necessary to reserve as much of green space both for society and for having absorbent soil. Thus was born the idea of the creation of a Wetland Park, which is public and metropolitan scale, appearance change during the seasons, and to respond to inclement weather. At the same time preserving existing vegetation as a whole and it is enhanced with native plantings that reduce maintenance costs, improve air quality, and along the water, create a microclimate in the Park. The hectares can be used as municipal public woodland nursery, equine area and community gardens run by the neighbors, accompanying recreational and sports activities.
