Located at the western side of the campus adjacent to the Liquid Crystal Materials science building, this sculpture shows the vibrant colors found in the cross polarized images of liquid crystals. A series of fiber optic lines are woven into an aluminum cellular structure that is activated as people pass through this campus gateway. The three sculptures are integrated into a linear plaza with seating and garden spaces.
